“When you photograph people in colour, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph in Black and White, you photograph their souls.” Ted Grant (Photojournalism Photographer)

I’ve always been drawn to the deep shadows and soft highlights of a great black and white image and usually revert to photographing a subject or scene in this way. But occasionally inspiration takes over and a scene dictates something different and you just need to photograph that pop of colour.
